Dont Use a Non Profit Resume Writing Service to Write Your Resumes

Don't Use a Non Profit Resume Writing Service to Write Your ResumesA nonprofit resume writing service should never take the position that it is just a simple resume writing service that can write the resumes of non-profit organizations for individuals who are seeking employment. A nonprofit resume writing service has a different mission than simply writing resumes. They have a specific agenda, and it's one that would benefit those in the nonprofit world to consider. For a nonprofit resume writing service to operate as such, they have to have a very narrow, not to mention very particular, viewpoint on nonprofit business models and operations. Their perspective has to be limited to only those organizations that are under the purview of laws that favor nonprofit organizations, and they have to favor the structure of nonprofit organizations and their operations in very particular ways.If the nonprofit group has become too commercial, then they aren't truly a nonprofit group. If the group doesn't use its money wisely, then they aren't truly a nonprofit group. If the group has grown too large or failed to meet its mission or goals, then they aren't truly a nonprofit group. At a minimum, these folks must also consider that if the nonprofit group isn't in fact a nonprofit, then they should be given special tax exemptions. Such special tax exemptions would help them to more easily qualify for grants from foundations, and other donors. As far as a nonprofit resume writing service goes, they do not have any bearing on whether or not an organization is nonprofit. This is where the state of New York comes into play. While the nonprofit resume writing service is happy to write the resumes of non-profit groups, and even non-profit individuals who are seeking employment, they are prohibited from using those resumes in an effort to obtain federal grants. The reason for this is because of New York's change in state law in 2020. That's the year that the state will be removing the spe cial tax exemption that nonprofit groups were given when they were initially organized. Nonprofit groups in New York will soon be allowed to start their own foundation as a grant, and they will no longer be able to use that grant money in order to further their own interests. They'll also no longer be able to use that grant money to further their interest of furthering their nonprofit interests. This means that they will have to spend that grant money on their own projects and programs. While this may be difficult for nonprofit groups that are already stretched very thin and trying to keep afloat, it does at least provide some breathing room for those organizations that are nonprofit. If you're an organization or person who is seeking employment, or who has recently started a nonprofit, you might want to think twice about using a nonprofit resume writing service. You might be better off trying to work with a nonprofit group that works directly with the government to assist the nonprof it in getting grants, rather than an agency that writes resumes. Please consider all this.
